The Legend Of The #mymeeting

The day is March 26th, 2015. The Sweet 16 is about to get started with 22 entrants left. Everyone has made their pick except for The Mang. Now this was no accident. This was instead a strategy rooted in a deep analysis of every team remaining to gain the slightest edge over your opponents by waiting until tip off to submit your pick. Some may question if this is necessary. Finally, with a few minutes to go before tip off, The Mang submits his pick: "Thursday - North Carolina"

Tip off of the Sweet 16 commences, and a few eagle eyed pool entrants notice that The Mang had yet to submit a pick. Little did everyone know, The Mang had indeed made his pick, but selected a team he had already used. Since the pool was relatively small, Scheibs noticed this and was attempting to contact him for a new pick. As time kept ticking after tip off, this operation became unsuccessful.

"According to the spreadsheet, The Mang hasn't made a pick yet" said Eric, watching the spreadsheet in real time. "no mercy. i know from experience." chimed in JD, who himself has had a long history of not submitting picks, although not so much due to any particular strategy. The crowd was growing restless, and still no new team from The Mang yet. Finally, an agonizing 12 minutes after tip off, the team was revealed to be North Carolina. "Oh this is even better - he picked a team he already PLAYED?!" exclaimed Eric, noticing that they were already chosen earlier in the tournament. And the rest, as they say, is history....

My meeting lasted long and I had to make a pick and leave my meeting. Sorry guys. I made my pick 12 min ago after my meeting and after I realized I had used Carolina. My bad but I had no idea if be stuck in a meeting that long. If you won't allow my pick I'm sorry but 3 games hadn't started and the other had just tipped. Sorry my meeting went long. If my picks not allowed then fine but just know that before all the rest of these games start.
